Packaged

Packaged was a large scale public art installation made of corragated cardboard pieces. Originally designed as a small scale model, the design was then recreated on CAD software in 3D, and then the pieces were individually printed by a cardboard manufacturing company in Kent. A test model was build first to test the integrity of the structure and then finally a version was created printed with silver finished cardboard. Each piece of the structure was connected together with plastic bolts. The work was exhibited at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Newcastle and then in The Mall shopping centre in Maidstone.
